Why modest clothing is important to me?

Modest clothing is important to me because I strive to be a virtuous woman of God. In Proverbs 31, God clearly illustrates the characteristics of a virtuous woman. A virtuous woman knows that her body is not her own, but it is the Lord’s. Her body is made holy and acceptable to God in order to be a temple for God to dwell in. 1st Corinthians 6:19-20 reads, “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” This scripture lets us know that God wants us to be Holy. Holiness and modesty are like a two for one deal. Your inner woman must be purified before one can expect the outward appearance to be made right.

In regards to clothing, the Lord let’s women know exactly what to do in 1Timothy 2:9-10 “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.” God tells us to take pride in adorning ourselves in modesty. His will is not for us to walk around shameful, but to have confidence in Him. As holy women of God we set the example and through this we can spreadgodliness throughout the world by teaching other women the beauty of holiness.

Cristal what can I say about her! I Thank God our paths in life have crossed. God has truly put some Amazing people in my life. People who challenge me to grow and become a better person. Back to Cristal, she is a sincerly beautiful positive person. I have known her for more than a year. She told me bits and pieces of her story but not in detail like the article. I am proud to know someone who has overcome sooooo much and still has a positive glow about her. SHE IS A PERSON WHO EMBODIES FORGIVENESS, CHRIST LOVE, AND GENUINESS..... God places people  you need  most in your life. She is truly a gift to all who know her. Sometimes you have Diamonds and Pearls in your presence but you don't truly know it yet.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN A BLESSING TO WE( Women of Ecclesia ) Movement. We share the same Ideals and ideas .DUHHHH were sisters but, CONGRADS AND I LOVE YOU from the bottom of my heart. THANK YOU FOR POSITIVELY CHANGING OUR LIVES FOR THE BETTER BECAUSE YOUR IN IT....

Reading her article I was in the Tears and my heart ache for her ,but I was truly inspired by her story because if you have met her she is not BITTER, ANGRY, or  UNTRUSTING she is the total  opposite of that. She has every right to be mad at her parents and the world but she IS NOT!!! I walked away from reading this story telling myself to be grateful and thankful. Whatever negative happen in the past LET IT GO.... It does no one any good holding on to the negative. Learn from it and BE BETTER! I cannot complain but be Thankful.

Happy New Year!!! 2013

I am Thankful for a new year. I am currently in school and working so I have been busy and neglecting this blog. I will do better this year because I love this blog and cause. Modesty is not outdated and anciet history.

Modesty is important part of my life and I have grown to appreciate as I get older and wiser. I hope you join me and my apostolic family  on my journey to modesty and holiness.
